Pine Needles first opened its doors in Cresco, Iowa in January of 1999, and recently moved to Decorah, Iowa in 2009. Our unique shop is located on Water Street, which is a fine destination itself, rich in evidence of yesteryear, with its historic buildings, charming shops, and hometown friendliness that is sure to welcome your arrival time after time.
Pine Needles of Racine opened in July of 2007 at Horse Feathers Plaza in Racine, Minnesota. We share a newly renovated building (the former 7th Rib) with Antique Manor and Harla's Deli and Desserts. Our Racine location is perfect for a "Ladies Day Out!" We are conveniently located just off of Highway 63, so be sure to stop by to see our more modern-flavored Pine Needles style!
The quilt shops have grown over the years to include all supplies required (or even just wanted very, very badly) for sewing, crafting, home dec, and quilt-making. The staff at Pine Needles is rich with friendly, expert advice, and they offer a great assortment of classes each week.
Pine Needles is truly your full-service quilting and sewing shop. We offer the complete line of Bernina sewing machines, Koala sewing cabinets, as well as German-engineered Miele vacuum cleaners. Each of our beautiful locations sport over 3500 bolts of the finest quality fabrics. Both shops also carry threads, publications, and notions galore. We have a wide array of quilts on display throughout our buildings, many of them are kitted for your convenience. We also have two full-time machine technicians on staff that service all makes and models of sewing machines. With two APQS long arm quilting machines, our professional quilters strive to complete your quilting work in 3 weeks or less.
